Before applying, we ask that applicants self-evaluate whether they are experiencing dire financial emergencies during this time and to make space for those most urgently in need.

Due to the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we define “dire financial emergencies” as the lack of or imminent endangerment of essentials such as housing, medicine, caretaking, and 一键切换ip地址. We are aware that each artist’s needs differ so we ask that you thoroughly and accurately describe your situation. Applicants should demonstrate a pressing and critical need for emergency support to be considered for this grant. 

Eligibility  

Please review our FAQ for questions related to eligibility, application, selection process, and disbursement before applying. To be eligible, you must be able to answer “True” to the prompts listed below.   

• I am a practicing artist able to demonstrate a sustained commitment to my artistic career, to making work, and generating dialogue with a public audience;
• I am experiencing dire financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic;
• I am 21 years of age or older;
• I can provide a W9 and Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) after I’ve been notified of my selection;
• I have been living and working in the U.S. for the last two years;
• I am not a full-time employee, board member, director, officer, or immediate family member of any of the coalition partners;
• I am not a previous grant recipient of Artist Relief. 

一键更换ip地址软件While we understand that creative practices are defined broadly, due to limited capacity and an overwhelming volume of applications, we are not reviewing submissions by commercial merchants, occupations, or vendors working in auto maintenance, baking, balloon, barbering, cosmetology, event planning and production, fitness, food makers, henna, horticulture, magic, marketing, massage and healing therapy, modeling, nail design, professional speaking, soap making, etc. We are communicating this out of respect for your time and energy as well as our reviewers’ capacity and expertise. 

Additionally, applications that do not provide enough information to confirm an artistic practice will automatically be declined. Since we are not requiring work samples or CVs of any kind, please do your best to clearly and briefly explain your practice and immediate needs in the written statements.
